Hanna Werning is one of my favourite surface designers as I find her work visually exciting due to her use of vibrant colours and bold designs. Her work is very imaginative and playful and her wallpapers are all very unique in style. I aspire to one day produce original designs as good as hers in the future and I find her designs a great inspiration.

I was especially drawn to this design of hers because of how she has combined so many different shapes to create one overall pattern for the wallpaper. She has used bright colours which are muted down with the light grey in the background and split up with the white live, which gives the wallpaper the right amount of contrast with colour. This design was inspired by the Italian tiles which she has mixed with geometric deigns to make the pattern more visually interesting for the eye.
