Trip to Krakow, Poland

I recently took a short trip to Krakow in Poland with my college as our yearly residential trip. I wasn't too sure what to expect but  I unexpectedly found that I really fell in love with the city! Krakow is the cultural capital city of Poland and this was very obvious to see as soon as we arrived. The buildings around the city were really unique and beautiful, a lot of them being very tall and unusual colours such as light greens and yellows. We took some trips to galleries, museums, an art school and a very emotional trip to the concentration camp Auschwitz. I found that the Polish were very inventive and creative with their artwork, which was really inspiring to me as an art student. Even the bars and pubs were full of artwork and textiles, which was really different compared to our traditional English bars. If I had the chance I would defiantly revisit Krakow as there was so much to see in so little time, so it would be nice to take another trip to see it all.
