During my trip to London I also took a look at the fabulous Liberty Store. I found the building itself from the outside to be beautifully structured & overwhelming with its shire size & traditional style. There was a really pretty selection of flowers around the entrance to the store which I thought was very inviting to the customers. I took a few pictures of the outside of the shop & the flower arrangements (below).
The store inside was just as amazing as the outside stocking wonderful stationary items such as leather bound notebooks, vintage notelets & gift wrap. Some of the notebooks that I loved are below taken from the Liberty website.
There was also lots of incredible ethnic rugs on an upstairs floor that I absolutely fell in love with, so much that I could have spent hours just searching through the mountain of fine material! There was a floor for arts & crafts that I found really favourable as it seemed to have everything possible for crafting with lovely high quality materials & buttons etc. I also discovered some brilliant books on crafting & fashion in the store & showed particular interest in one which was titled 'The Liberty Book of Sewing', that I am now trying to get hold of. Here are some rugs & fabrics that I was really fond of.
There was a wonderful selection of silk scarves available & I have displayed some of the pictures from there website of the ones I was most fond of (below).
Alexander Mcqueen, Tiger Skull Print Scarf.
Liberty London, Ianthe Print Scarf.
Oska, Wyanet Scarf.
Paul Smith, Canvas Print Silk Scarf.
