When looking through Tapeten, Wallpaper book by Joachim Fishcher i found a wallpaper that really caught my eye by German illustrator Birgit Amadori. Her designs are based on story's from fairytales, myths and legends. She creates magical designs including mythical creatues/ characters and mixes them with unique patterns. Her designs combine western and  far eastern themes with patterns, shapes and colours to create pictorial stories. I find Birgit Amadori's work interesting as it has a lot of thought and depth behind the designs and it is very unusual and enchanting.
